To provide a binding device which can acquire information related to a reinforcing bar and utilize it.SOLUTION: A binding facility device 100A being a binding device includes: a reinforcing bar binding machine 1A which binds reinforcing bars S with a wire; and a transfer machine 200A which transfers the reinforcing bar binding machine 1A to a binding part P10. The reinforcing bar binding machine 1A includes an information acquisition part 101 which acquires reinforcing bar identification information related to the reinforcing bars S bound with the wire. A setting of a movement of the reinforcing bar binding machine 1A is switched according to a binding part on the basis of the reinforcing bar identification information acquired by the information acquisition part 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
