Abstract:

To provide a shoes-binding device capable of being rapidly and easily attached/detached and having an operability bonded to a flexibility and a comfortability to put on, a steering property and a reactive property.

The binding device for mounting an instep part and a toe part of shoes 10 to a snow board 28 has a mounting member 12 disposed on the toe part of a shoe bottom; an engagement member 16 disposed on a frame 14 and corresponding thereto; and a strap 18 for mounting a portion of the shoes to the frame 14. When a user positions the shoes on the frame 14, one end 58 of the strap 18 is fixed to one side of the shoe bottom and a free end of the strap 18 is passed through the instep part of the shoes and is tightened to the other side of the frame 14 by a ratchet/buckle mechanism 48. The toe is easily and certainly mounted to the frame 14 and the strap 18 can be simply tightened.
