Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a film for wrapping newspapers or the like from being caught and also to make it easy to open/close a belt conveyer receiving plate (top plate) for easy cleaning and maintenance.
CONSTITUTION: A binding machine having an arch-like band guide frame includes belt conveyer receiving plates 6a, 6b positioned so that they can be freely opened/closed respectively in two equally divided sections in a direction where newspapers are sent on an upper face of an apparatus body l, a band passage 8 formed corresponding to the guide frame between the divided receiving plates, and three regulating plates 15a, 15b, 15c embedded in one of the receiving plates and provided so that it can freely appear/disappear with respect to the band passage 8. Driving rollers 9a, 9b of the belt conveyer are placed on a opposite side to the band passage 8 of the divided receiving plates, while the rollers 9a,9b are pivoted by the apparatus body 1, the receiving plate is supported by a support member 20 loosely attaching to a roller shaft, and the receiving plates, the regulating plates and the driving means can be integrally opened/closed with the driving rollers 9a, 9b as the center.
