To provide a binding member which does not require striking by a hammer or the like.
A binding member 1, which is mounted to a pocket body 2, formed in an approximately U shape in a cross section view, of a support post 31, includes: a horizontal member 11 which extends in the approximately horizontal direction; a hollow wedge 13 which is installed at one end of the horizontal member 11; a pair of hooking members 12 which are installed on the end surface of the horizontal member 11 with a predetermined distance P longer than the width length of the pocket body 2 and extend in the approximately vertical direction; and a lock member 14 which is displaceably supported inside the wedge 13 and has a projecting part 23 movable forward and backward relative to the wedge 13. When the binding member 1 is mounted to the pocket body 2, the wedge 13 is fitted into the pocket body 2 while the pair of hooking members 12 are holding the pocket body 2 from above, and the lock member 14 is displaced inside the wedge 13, whereby the projecting part 23 is projected from the bottom of the pocket body 2.
