To provide a binding positioning structure of a binding tool which allows a binding band to be fasten to a preset binding spot highly precisely in dimension so that a wire harness can be mounted on a vehicle panel easily and preferably without a trouble of pulling the wire harness forcibly or refastening the binding band on site when the wire harness is bound with the binding band using the bining tool.
According to the binding positioning structure of the binding tool A, a binding tool jig J is set corresponding to a preset binding spot n for the wire harness W, which is arranged to be kept above the upper surface 10a of a support board 10. A projecting piece 8, which makes a pair with a positioning part 62 of the binding tool jig J, is provided on the front end of the binding tool A. As the binding tool A is so moved toward the jig J as to set the projecting piece 8 on the positioning part 62, a binding action part 5 of the binding tool A is located at a position corresponding to the preset binding spot n.
