Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a novel and improved binding system for slide boards, particularly snow boards which is easy to operate and the clamps of which can be handled without much strength.
CONSTITUTION: Hook-shaped locking elements are arranged in indentations 15 constituting by slits on jaws 13. The slit has an opening for receiving a projection 5 laterally extending from the heel of the boot on its upper inside. When the projection 5 is put into the slit, its longitudinal direction is vertical to that of the slit. The front part of the boot is locked by insertion into the hoop and descending the heel, and released by moving an operation lever.
