Abstract:

To provide a binding tape which can efficiently suppress occurrence of a fiber fray while exhibiting an excellent hand-tearing property.

The binding tape 10 is formed of a fabric 20 knitted in a warp-knitted woof-inserted method in which a warp 21 formed of synthetic resin fiber has a form that loops 22 are continuously formed, and a weft 25, which is formed of synthetic resin fiber thicker than that of the warp 21, is inserted in the loops 22; a hot-melt film 12 attached on one surface of the fabric 20; an adhesive layer 13 formed on a surface of the hot-melt film 12. In the fabric 20, a woof insertion loop row 23A horizontally arranged in a form that the weft 25 is inserted, and an empty loop row 23B arranged horizontally in a form that the weft 25 is not inserted are alternately arranged in a longitudinal direction.
