To provide a binocular magnifying glass equipped with a correction mechanism for a parallax which does not give rise to aberrations.
The binocular magnifying glass has two left and right optical systems having objective lenses 1L and 1R to perform focusing or variable power operation by moving in a back and forth direction with respect to the optical axes and eyepieces 3L and 3R. The binocular magnifying glass is equipped with two left and right wedge prisms 2L and 2R which have equal arguments and rotate in directions opposite to each other with respect to the optical axes cooperatively with the movement in the back and forth direction of the objective lenses1 in front of the objective lenses 1L and 1R. The binocular magnifying glass makes an observation object always observable at the center of visual fields by changing the optical path of the light from the observation object according to the distance from the observation object. Accordingly, a user is able to carry out the focusing or variable power operation in the state of aligning the optical axes of the objective lenses 1L and 1R and the optical axes of the eyepieces 3L and 3R and is able to correct the parallax without giving rise to the comatic aberrations.
