Title:
BINOCULAR STEREO-MICROSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3693712
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binocular stereo-microscope capable of having nearly uniform illumination on the object of observation without increasing the size of the entire unit.
SOLUTION: The binocular stereo-microscope is provided with an illuminating optical system 1, which projects an illuminating luminous flux on the eyeground Er of inspecting eyes E through a pair of exit pupils 60a, 61a and an objective lens 3, and a pair of left and right observation optical systems 2a, 2b on which a luminous flux reflected from the eyeground Er corresponding to the illuminating luminous flux is incident through the objective lens 3. Then, a pair of the exit pupils 60a, 61a, orthogonally crossing the optical axes 01, 02 of a pair of the observation optical systems 2a, 2b and also extending in parallel to the virtual line 4 connecting the optical axes 01, 02, are each arranged in the proximity of the observation optical paths 2a2, 2b2 of a pair of the observation optical systems 2a, 2b, and also each opposite end of the exit pupils 60a, 61a is projected to the side of each observation optical path 2a2, 2b2 so that the incident light quantity by the both reflected luminous flux on the observation optical path may be equal or nearly equal to each other in a pair of the observation optical systems.
