PURPOSE: To obtain the title material which is, rapidly integrated with a bio- texture and provides high mechanical strength by forming successively a metal layer consisting of Nb or Ta, an intermediate glass layer consisting of a borosilicate glass and a bio-active layer consisting of a bio-active crystalline glass and a borosilicate glass on a core body consisting of titanium or a titanium alloy.
CONSTITUTION: A metal layer consisting of Nb or Ta is formed on a core body consisting of titanium or a titanium alloy and an intermediate glass layer consisting of a borosilicate glass is formed thereon and then, a bio-active layer consisting of a bio-active crystalline glass and a borosilicate glass is formed thereon. The borosilicate glass has a compsn. with SiO2 of 60.0-70.0%, B2O3 of 10.0-15.0%, Al2O3 of 2.0-10.0%, Li2O of 2.3-8.0%, Na2O of 1.0-8.0%, K2O 1.0-8.0%, Li2O+Na2O 10.0-15.0% and ZrO2 1.0-8.0% in terms of wt.%.
