Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer which prevents garbage composed mostly of cooked rice from becoming a dumpling-like matter when the garbage is treated by drying and shows high service properties. SOLUTION: This garbage disposer is equipped with a garbage storage part 1, a heating means 10 and a temperature detecting means 14 which detects the internal temperature of the garbage storage part 1. In addition, the quantity of heat of the heating means 10 is controlled so that the internal temperature of the garbage storage part 1 equals a specified first temperature T1 by the output of the temperature detection means 14 and that, in case the output of the temperature detection means 14 exceeds the specified first temperature level T1 consecutively for a specified time, the heating means 10 keeps heating the garbage until a specified second temperature is reached in such a state that the quantity of heat of the means 10 is less than the quantity of heat to be applied to the ordinary garbage to be disposed of, when the garbage containing a high percentage of carbohydrate such as the cooked rice is disposed of. The described control of the quantity of heat is performed by a control device 25. Consequently, even the garbage containing a high percentage of the cooked rice does not become a dumpling-like matter because the garbage is efficiently dried and this garbage disposer shows high service properties.
