Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I {R is substituted phenyl [a substituent is -NR1COR2 (R1 is H or an alkyl; R2 is H, an alkyl, an alkoxy or the like) or the like]; X is cyano-COOH and the salt of the same, ester, and amide derivative}.
EXAMPLE: [2-N-acetylamino]phenyl-ONN-azoxycyanide.
USE: Bactericide, nematicide. Effective for grape yellowing curl, grape ash-coloured mold, barley mildew, tomato summer epidemic or the like.
PROCESS: A compound of formula II is reacted with cyanamide to obtain N-oxide compound of formula I in which X=cyano, and then the same is arbitrarily derived to obtain the compound of formula I.
