Abstract:

To provide a biodegradable aliphatic polyester copolymer having practical physical properties and also capable of forming a film, and method for producing the same capable of producing it industrially.

This biodegradable aliphatic polyester copolymer has molecular chains consisting of the following recurring units (P), (Q) and (R), or is obtained by linking low molecular weight aliphatic polyester copolymers with isocyanate, etc. (P): (COR1COOR2O)p (wherein, R1 is a 1-12C divalent aliphatic group; R2 is a 2-12C divalent aliphatic group), Q: (COR3O)q [wherein, R3 is a 1-10C divalent aliphatic group; and (q) is 0.02-0.30 range], R: (COR4COOR5O)r [wherein, R4 is a 1-20C divalent aliphatic group; R5 is a 2-20C divalent aliphatic group containing at least ≥1 ether linkage or alicyclic type skeleton in its main chain; and (r) is 0.001-0.40 range].
