Abstract:
PURPOSE: To beautifully and simply form the terminal part of a molding.
CONSTITUTION: The terminal part of a molding for a car is formed by a process holding the terminal part 11 of a molding main body 10 composed of a hollow molded product, a process heating and softening the terminal part, a process drawing the terminal part to the molding surface of a lower mold under vacuum to soften the same and pressing an upper mold 50 to the upper surface of the softened terminal part to impart a terminal shape to the terminal part, a process bending the outer edge parts of the terminal part downwardly by a bending mold 60 and a process appropriately cutting off the outer edge parts of the bent terminal part to finish a predetermined product.
