Abstract:
To provide a non-toxic, biodegradable, and biocompatible polymer that can be used for the transfection of a nucleic acid and can efficiently, economically and simply be prepared.
The compound of this invention is represented by the formula (wherein linker B is selected from the group consisting of a 1-30C carbon chain, a hetero atom-containing carbon chain having 1-30 atoms, a carbon chain having at least one substituent, and a hetero atom-containing carbon chain having at least one substituent; R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, branched and non-branched alkyl, aryl, halogen, hydroxy, alkoxy and other groups; and n is an integer between 5 and 10,000).
