Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a biodegradable polyethylene compsn. chemically bonded with starch and a process for preparing the same.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. comprises 100 pts.wt. matrix resin, 5-400 pts.wt. biodegradable filler, 0.01-10 pts.wt. binder, 0.01-10 pts.wt. compatible catalytic agent, 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. free radical initiator, 0.01-10 pts.wt. autoxidation agent, and 0.01-10 pts.wt. plasticizer. The compsn. may further contain a comonomer.
