To provide a biodegradable resin formed article which has several functions and capacities required as a resin member or a part and has enough fire-resistance, and hence is free from deformation or the like even when exposed in a high-temperature atmosphere, and prevents the function or capacity of members, parts or the like therearound from being affected, and exhibits enough function desired as a member or a part and is free from cause of reducing the commodity value, usage value or the like of articles incorporating parts or the like, by a malodor, and is reusable and free from affecting the environment when wasted.

The biodegradable resin formed article has a coated film containing an aromatic component or a deodorizing component, on at least a portion of the surface of the resin formed article which is produced through forming of a forming material containing a biodegradable resin.
