Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a biodegradable staple fiber having ≥100°C heat resistance and excellent crimp characteristics and strength.
CONSTITUTION: This staple fiber is composed of a biodegradable thermoplastic polymer having ≥100°C melting point and has ≥2.0g/d tensile strength, ≤100% breaking elongation, 8-35 peaks/25mm number of crimps and ≥5.0% crimp ratio.
