Abstract:
To provide a blood separation device that decouples and separates the blood collection process from the plasma separation process.SOLUTION: A blood separation device includes: a sample collection module 20 which has a housing 30 forming a collection passage, the collection passage including any of an inlet end or an inlet and any of an outlet end or an outlet and forming a plurality of continuous flow direction alternate collection passages; an activation module 22 which is in fluid communication with the sample collection module 20 and can move between the first position where at least a portion of the collection passage is at the first pressure and the second position where at least a portion of the collection passage is at the second pressure, and the second pressure being larger than the first pressure; and a separation module 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
