Abstract:

To provide a method and a device making it possible to highly precisely and easily measure a fat tissue accumulated in a body trunk part, especially a fat tissue accumulated in the vicinity of an internal organ tissue and fat tissue information accumulated in a subcutaneous layer.

A lower limb impedance, an upper limb impedance, and a body trunk impedance are measured, an upper or lower limb skeletal muscle tissue quantity is obtained based on the body specifying information, a body trunk skeletal muscle tissue quantity is obtained, a body trunk skeletal muscle tissue layer impedance is obtained, an internal organ tissue quantity of the body trunk is obtained, an internal organ tissue impedance of the body trunk is obtained, a body trunk internal organ fat tissue impedance is obtained based on the body trunk skeletal muscle tissue layer impedance and the internal organ tissue impedance of the body trunk, and a body trunk internal organ fat tissue quantity is obtained.
