Abstract:

To provide a biological information authentication device, a biological information authentication system and a biological information authentication method securing safety of authentication even when part of biological information is stolen or lost.

This biological information authentication system comprises the biological information authentication device 10, a portable medium 20, and a host computer 30. The biological information authentication device 10 is equipped with a CPU 11 which controls operations of each block, a secure IC 12, such as an IC card, SIM, a memory 13 for temporarily storing the biological information used for authentication, a biological sensor 14, such as a fingerprint sensor or a CCD sensor, and an I/F part 15 for communicating with the host computer 30 through a network.
