Abstract:

To provide a biological information communication system which reduces power consumption of a receiver.

A biological information communication system is constituted of: a transmitter 10 comprising a biological information measuring section 12 for measuring biological information and a first transmitting/receiving section 13 for transmitting the biological information by radio; and a receiver 11 comprising a second transmitting/receiving section 15 for intermittently receiving biological information from the transmitter 10 in a fixed period. The transmitter 10 comprises a first transmission/reception control section 14 for instructing the first transmitting/receiving section 13 to transmit a next transmission time to transmit biological information to the receiver 11 when the start of measuring the biological information is reported from the biological information measuring section 12, and instructing to transmit the biological information when the next transmission time elapses. The receiver 11 comprises a second transmission/reception section 16 for instructing the second transmitting/receiving section 15 to stop intermittent receiving operation when the next transmission time is received from the transmitter and instructing to perform reception after the lapse of the next transmission time.
