Abstract:

To reduce the effect of directly reflected light on a contact-surface side of a contact member.

A biological information detector includes: a light-emitting part 14; a light-receiving part 16; a reflecting part 18; a protecting part 19 subjected to protect the light-emitting part 14, the protecting part having a contact member 19-2 provided with a contact surface in contact with the detection site, and the contact member being formed from a material that is transparent with respect to a wavelength of the light emitted by the light-emitting part 14; and a substrate 11. Light emitted from the light-emitting part 14 is prevented from reflecting once on a contact-surface side of the contact member 19-2 of the protecting part 19 and being incident on a light-receiving region of the light-receiving part 16.
