Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make the entire part of a device compact by charging and installing separating membranes into a hermetic type tank body, constituting the device in such a manner that the liquid permeated through the membranes can be taken out of the tank body and permeating liquid through the membranes by utilizing the pressure in the tank body.

CONSTITUTION: The separating membranes 7 are provided in the tank body of a biological reaction device which executes a biological reaction by using microorganisms in the tank body 1 in such a manner that the liquid permeated through the membranes 7 can be taken out of the tank body 1. The tank body 1 is made of a hermetic body and the liquid is permeated through the membranes by utilizing the pressure in the body 1. As a result, the constitution over the entire part of the device is made compact and the need for a driving power source for supplying the liquid to the membranes is eliminated.
