Abstract:
To provide a biomarker for early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy.
The invention relates to the use of a specific protein as the biomarker for diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, specifically relates to the use of a protein of which the expression amount is decreased or increased in the tears of diabetic retinopathy patients rather than in the tears of diabetes patients as the biomarker for diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, and also relates to a composition for diagnostic kits for diabetic retinopathy including an antibody against the protein and a kit.
