Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler capable of curbing generation of clinker due to increased combustion temperature of a grate by sufficiently securing exhaust gas flowing back to the grate.SOLUTION: A biomass boiler with a swirl flow combustion chamber comprises: a grate 3 where biomass fuel 2 is subjected to incomplete combustion; the combustion chamber 4 to which combustible gas is supplied from the grate; an air blower 5 which supplies air in the form of swirl flow to the combustion chamber; a heat exchanger 6 which is installed in the combustion chamber; an exhaust pipe 7 which is connected to the combustion chamber to discharge exhaust gas; and a recirculation pipe 10 which is connected to the exhaust pipe and allows a portion of the exhaust gas to flow back to the grate. An orifice 12 is installed at a downstream side of a point where the recirculation pipe 10 branches from the exhaust pipe 7 so as to increase resistance to the exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust pipe 7 and thereby sufficiently securing the exhaust gas flowing into the recirculation pipe 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
