Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass combustion system capable of making effective use of bio coke and efficiently and stably generating high-temperature hot blast.SOLUTION: A biomass combustion system comprises a tapered or cylindrical casing 1, and is configured so that a basket member 2 is installed in the casing 1 for storing and holding bio coke 8 and allowing air to freely pass through the basket member 2, a generally cylindrical clearance 17 is formed between a circumferential wall 20 of the basket member 2 and an inner circumferential surface 3 of the casing 1, a first air supply pipe 11 having a heater 5 is communicated with and coupled to a lower end portion 1c of the casing 1, an air outlet 10 is provided in a sidewall of an intermediate portion 1B, the air is heated by the heater 5 into heating combustion air 25, the heating combustion air 25 is supplied into the casing 1, a lower portion z of the bio coke 8 stored in the casing 1 is ignited by the quantity of heat of the heating combustion air 25, a swirl flow is formed in the clearance 17 while the lower portion is continuously fired and the heating combustion air 25 rises from the lower end portion 1C to the intermediate portion 1B, and hot blast 26 at a predetermined high temperature is blown off from the air outlet 10.
