To provide an engine system matching with biomass fuel which firstly miniaturizes equipment and is excellent in cost, secondly improves a heat value of the biomass fuel, thirdly securely reduces and removes tar, fourthly carries out engine control matching with various fuels, and fifthly employs an injector capable of such a control and overcoming a capacity difficulty.
This engine system comprises a tar reforming reactor 1 and a rotary engine 10. Then, the tar reforming reactor 1 is supplied with a produced gas B obtained by charging the biomass A into a gasifying furnace 2, and obtains a reformed gas D by carrying out the steam reforming of contained tar C into hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide or the like. The rotary engine 10 can use various kinds of reformed gasses D different in heat value and composition as its fuel H, and includes a plurality of injectors 15 and a control part 16 capable of executing individual control matching with each fuel H.
