In this biomass mixing and burning device and the mixing and burning method for mixing and burning solid fossil fuel and biomass fuel, conveyance stream of mixed fuel flow body is made eccentric toward an upper part wall of a fuel supply flow passage by an eccentric stream means provided in the fuel supply flow passage when supplying the mixed fuel flow body to at least one combustion burner attached to a furnace main body through the fuel supply flow passage. The conveyance stream generates component of force going toward the upper part wall of the flow passage to divide stream of flow body into two layers including upper part biomass rich stream being rich in biomass fuel and lower part minute slack coal rich stream being rich in minute slack coal roughly. The conveyance stream divided into two upper and lower layer streams is converted into two layer streams separated to the left and right sides by a twist conversion means provided in the fuel supply flow passage and is supplied to a fuel burner.
