To provide a biomass storage apparatus which can prevent troubles such as corrosion of peripheral devices of the storage tank by the effect of moisture held by a biomass from occurring.
The biomass storage apparatus includes: the storage tank 1 which stores the biomass; and a carrying means 10 which carries the biomass having been cut out from the bottom section of the storage tank 1. In the biomass storage apparatus, an opening 5 is installed on the side wall of the storage tank 1, and piping 11 which is extended from the opening 5 is connected with the loading side from which the biomass is fed. Then, a suction means 12 which draws out air in the storage tank 1 through the opening 5 is installed on the piping 11. At the same time, a branching pipe 21 which draws in diluted air from the outside of the tank and makes it join the drawn air from the storage tank 1 is connected with the piping 11 on the suction side of the suction means 12 as the constitution of the biomass storage apparatus.
