Abstract:

To provide a biomedical scaffold for effectively and uniformly distributing fluid and nutriment necessary for the growth of a tissue, and to provide a method for producing the same.

This biomedical polymer foam scaffold having a bio compatibility and a method for producing the scaffold are suitable for use in the repair and regeneration of the tissue. The scaffold comprises the network of branch flow passages disposed therein and effective in promoting and facilitating the renewal of blood vessels and growth of tissue in the scaffold.
