This material is produced from a thermoplastic material contg. a high-molecular org. material and a softener, has a hardness (according to JIS K 6301, scale A) of 0-25°, a compression set at 100°C (according to JIS K 6301) of 50% or lower, and an MFR at 230°C of 10g/10min or higher, and contains 50-500 pts.wt. softener and 10-25 pts.wt. polyphenylene ether both based on 100 pts.wt. high-molecular org. material. The org. material is a polymer obtd. by hydrogenating a polystyrene-polybutadiene block copolymer and has a solubility parameter different from that of the softener by 3.0 or lower. The softener is pref. selected from among naphthenic, paraffinic, and polyisobutylene oils.
