Abstract:
To provide a biopolymer removal device capable of performing direct removal of a biopolymer by membrane filtration over a long period without using a special medicament such as an adsorbent and a flocculation agent, and a water treatment system including the biopolymer removal device.SOLUTION: A biopolymer removal device 1 includes: a hollow fiber membrane 31 having cut-off molecular weight of 30,000 to 500,000, and a contact angle to water is 40° to 85°; and an acid cleaning part for periodically performing acid cleaning of the hollow fiber membrane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
