Abstract:
To provide a bioresorbable knit for hernia repair and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a bioresorbable prosthetic porous knit comprising an arrangement of yarns of bioresorbable biocompatible material defining at least two sides for said knit, said knit being provided, on one of its sides, with barbs protruding outwards from said one side, wherein each yarn of the arrangement defining said two sides is doubled. The barbs are formed by cutting the loops that protrude outwards from said one side of said knit via melting.
