Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a biosensor for gas measurement which can be used as, for example, a drinking measuring apparatus and can measure gas-phase organic chemical substance quickly and precisely.
CONSTITUTION: This biosensor comprises a thick film type electrochemical element provided with an insulating substrate 1, a plurality of electrodes 2, 3, 4 formed on the insulating substrate 1, and connecting pads 5 and insulating layers 6 for respective electrodes 2, 3, 4, and a sensing film provided with a water-absorptive moistened gel layer 7 in which an enzine is immobilized to be reacted with the gas-phase organic chemical substances.
