Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized and inexpensive biquadratic circuit by constituting each amplifier of the biquadratic circuit by an integrator comprising a transconductance type differential amplifier and a variable impedance circuit. CONSTITUTION:The circuit consists of integrators A1, A2 and a variable impedance circuit B1, the integrator A1 consists of a double balanced differential amplifier comprising two differential amplifiers and a capacitor C1 connecting to its output stage, and the integrator A2 consists of a differential amplifier and a capacitor C2 connecting between its output terminal and ground. Moreover, the variable impedance circuit B1 is connected to the output terminal of the integrator A1. Thus, the mutual conductance of the differential amplifier is adjusted by controlling variable current source circuits I1-I4 thereby varying the output impedance of the differential amplifier substantially. Thus, the small sized and inexpensive biquadratic circuit is obtained.
