PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of displaying a map as a bird's-eye view.
SOLUTION: The projection plane is so decided that the drawn positions of two points after perspective conversion come to prescribed positions based on, with inputting of a view point accepted, the coordinates of a current position and target position as well as the view point. Otherwise, the view point and the projection plane are so decided that the drawn positions of the two points after perspective conversion come to the prescribed positions while the scale size of drawing come to what is inputted, based on the coordinates of the two points and the scale size, with inputting of the scale size accepted. Otherwise, with inputting of a projection angle accepted, the projection plan is decided based on the projection angle and the view point. A map data is perspective- converted onto the projection plane to provide a bird's-eye view.
