PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture of bischlorocarbonic acid esters useful for the production of linear statistical copolycarbonates, obtained from selected cycloaliphatic bisphenols and other bisphenols.SOLUTION: The oligomeric bischlorocarbonic acid esters can be, in a two-phase reaction, obtained from selected cycloaliphatic bisphenols and other bisphenols by introducing phosgene.
