A joint body 1 includes a female thread tube part 13 integrally extending in a cylindrical shape to a coupling member side from a base part 11 and having a female thread part 13a formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof, a shaft part 14 projecting in the female thread tube part 13 from the base part 11, and a pipe insertion port 16 formed in an axial part of the shaft part 14 for inserting therein a pipe P to be connected. A cam surface 19 is formed on the chip of the shaft part 14, and a cylindrical space part 15 is formed on the outer peripheral side of the shaft part 14. Assuming the length in the axial direction of the cylindrical space part 15 as S1, the length in the radial direction of the cam surface 19 as S2 and the thickness in radial direction of the shaft part 14 as D1, the joint body 1 is configured to satisfy two inequalities, S1/S20.5 (inequality 1) and S1/D10.5 (inequality 2).
