Abstract:

To provide a black ink composition giving a recorded matter having excellent hue and color development of a high-duty part on a glossy paper.

The black ink composition at least contains water, a colorant expressed by formula (1) and a colorant expressed by formula (2). The compounding ratio of the colorant expressed by formula (1) to the colorant expressed by formula (2) is preferably (4-7):1.
