Title:
BLACK SILANE PRIMER FOR IMPROVING ADHESION OF ADHESIVE TAPE TO GLASS SURFACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014205835
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a primer which comprises a mixture dissolved or dispersed in one or more solvents, and can successfully facilitate adhesion between a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and a hydrophilic surface, in particular glass and ensures a good coloration of the primer allowing an opaque primer layer to be obtained.SOLUTION: The primer comprises a mixture dissolved or dispersed in one or more solvents. The mixture is composed of: a copolymer; one or more organofunctional silanes; and a metal complex-based dye or a spinel-type metal oxide dye. The copolymer comprises vinylcaprolactam and/or vinylpyrrolidone, and one or more of the following monomers: a) an acrylic acid ester of a linear primary alcohol containing 2 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl group of the alcohol, b) an acrylic acid ester of a branched, non-cyclic alcohol having 4 to 12 carbon atoms in the alkyl group of the alcohol, and c) acrylic acid, and is obtained through the copolymerization, preferably the radical copolymerization of the vinylcaprolactam and/or vinylpyrrolidone and the monomer.
