Abstract:
To provide a black smoke eliminating device for a diesel engine capable of easily equalizing the temperature of a particulate filter and facilitating maintenance.
In the black smoke eliminating device 20 for the diesel engine provided with an oxidation catalyst 4 and the particulate filter 1 in series therein, an inlet of exhaust gas 10 is provided between the oxidation catalyst 4 and the particulate filter 1, and the exhaust gas passage is connected to an upstream side space 2a of the oxidation catalyst 4 with extending from the inlet section through an inside of the oxidation catalyst 4.
