Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the quantity of black smoke included in the exhaust gas from a diesel engine when the engine in the no-load condition is put in quick accelerative operation.
CONSTITUTION: A Diesel engine which drives a hydraulic pump has a computerized control device 14, and when a shift lever 13 is in the neutral position and the accelerator pedal 11 is stamped quickly, the control device 14 makes control so that the accel. opening incremeasing speed of a fuel injection pump 16 decreases from the level when the engine is in the normally loaded condition, wherein the fuel injection pump 16 is structured as adjusted by an all-speed governor 17 through a stepping motor 15.
