Title:
BLACKENED ZN-AL ALLOY-PLATED STEEL SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3388882
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To impart excellent weather resistance to a galvanized steel sheet by using inorganic zinc phosphate crystals contg. Ni on the surface of the galvanized steel sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Zinc phosphate crystals are formed on the surface of galvanized steel sheet and are made at an L value of 25-40 of the lightness index when examined by a color-difference meter. Ni is included in the zinc phosphate crystals by 1-3 mass %. Crystals of 5-20μm crystalline particle diameter showing the orientation of the (111) surface and the (221) surface to the sheet surface are intermingled. Further, a clear coating film is preferably formed on the blacked zinc phosphate-plated steel sheet to protect the crystals. In this case, as a coating material, known epoxy, vinyl chloride, acrylic, fluorine based material or the like is used. When the coating thickness is <5μm, the peeling of the zinc phosphate crystals is not sufficiently restrained, and when the coating thickness is >25μm, there is danger of producing the peeling of the coating film on working, thus the coating thickness of 5-25μm is suitable.
