The blade drive apparatus 1 includes: a substrate 10 having an optical path opening 11; the blade 30 having a plurality of openings 31-33; an electromagnetic actuator 50a for swinging the blade 30 and advancing/retreating it to the optical path opening 11; and an electromagnetic actuator 50b for modifying a position of a swing support point of the blade 30 for the substrate 10. The electromagnetic actuator 50a includes a rotor 51a, and a transmission part 58a for transmitting rotation of the rotor 51a to the blade 30. The electromagnetic actuator 50b includes a rotor 51b, and a transmission part 58b for transmitting rotation of the rotor 51b to the blade 30. The blade 30 includes a cam groove 19a engaged with the transmission part 58a, and a fit hole 19b slidably fitted with the transmission part 58b.
