Abstract:
To provide a blade 1 for a fixing device with which the film thickness of silicone oil film squeezed by the blade 1 can be made thinner and which can thereby exhibit an outstanding blade function.
The blade 1 which contacts slidably the surface of the roller of a fixing device has a lip 3 having the surface of the rubber-like elastic body 4 coated with a fluoroplastic coating material 5, and the diameter of the cross section in tip part 3a of the lip 3 is formed in the size of 0.15 mm or less.
