PURPOSE: To provide a blade guard fixing device, in which circumferential gaps of holes are eliminated, the fixing of a blade guard is sure and abnormal sound will never be generated.

CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioning machine 3 is provided with an air outlet port, provided at the front surface 4 of the same, a fan, provided in the air- conditioning machine 3 so as to be opposed to the air outlet port, and a blade guard 1, formed of a plurality of wire members. In the blade guard 1, the tip ends 2 of the plurality of wire members are penetrated through holes 5, provided on the front surface 14 of the air-conditioning machine 3, and, thereafter, the tip ends 2 of the wire members are bent into opposite directions mutually to fix them.
