Abstract:
To provide a blade, a lubricant supply device, an image forming apparatus, and a method for manufacturing a blade that can improve efficiency in application of lubricant without causing a side effect.SOLUTION: A blade levels a lubricant supplied onto an image carrier, comprises a leading end part that is deflected to contact the image carrier, and is configured to be tapered toward the leading end part. The blade has a first side face that is along a direction directed to the leading end part and a second side face inclined toward the first side face with respect to the direction, in a state where the blade is not in contact with the image carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
