PURPOSE: To provide a blade portion of a dry shaver which can effectively shave beard grown in any way to short.
CONSTITUTION: Each of blade portion units 3 comprising inner blades 2 which can slide against an outer blade 1 has a fan-shape, in the upper surface 4 of the blade portion unit 3 a plurality of slits 5 for introducing beard are arranged in a fan-like pattern, the upper surface 4 of the blade unit 3 has a groove 6 with a width a, and opposite sides of the groove 6 have slits 8 as extentions of the slits 5. The blade portion units 3 are arranged on a blade head 15 with a gap a therebetween. The inner blades 2 are reciprocativel rotated with a minimum distance of b=b'=b". The gaps between the projected blade portion units 3 are thus constituted to have the same minimied distance, so that when the blade head 15 is moved a distance equal to the gap all of the beard covered by the area of the blade head 15 is cut and if the blade head 15 is further moved the beard will be cut shorter. Due to the gaps and the edge 16 of the outer blade, longer beard can be caught to be sharphly shaved.
