Title:
BLADE STRUCTURE HAVING ANTI-ICING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010234989
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a blade structure capable of suitably preventing icing in an environment where it is exposed to high speed supercooling water droplets.

On the surface of the blades of an aircraft, the surface of a blade front edge predicted to collide with high speed supercooling water droplets in take-off or landing is formed as a non-water repellency area with small surface roughness, and a super water repellency coating is applied to other surface areas. By heading the non-water repellency area with an electric heater, ice nuclei created at the blade front edge are molten without growing to ice coating, flipped by the water repellency structure on the blade surface following in a wing direction, and splashed/removed.
